May Update

"You made a promise to me."

"I know what I said."

"Look out the window, at the road, the grass, anything. All of it is being torn apart. Even you, now, should be able to see it if you tried. The trees tear away from the earth, the road separates and cracks, everything goes to ruin. I will not let you go with it. We will not go with it. I have done too much to let that happen. Tell me what you told yourself before you left."

What have I been working on this month?

Most of this month has been spent on revisions and planning for some of the final few scenes. I feel reasonably confident in saying that I am about ⅔ done with a rough draft of the script, with a good idea of what the last third of the story will look like. I am currently aiming to finish writing the rough draft of the script by the end of June and to focus on revising the script and illustrating the rest of the game in July. Back in March I said that I wanted to release SALTWATER before the end of 2023, and that seems more likely than ever now.

What else have I been up to?

I recently updated my print shop with a few more recent pieces, which you can find here. You can find other pieces I’ve made in the past month here and here as well.
