There are some really beautiful descriptions and settings in this. I would paste some examples, but I don't want to spoil them. I also really like the structure. I didn't expect it to be the type of comparative chronicle that it is, and I love how its meaning builds and deepens with each section without making direct references, just simple juxtaposition. Really nice.
